The 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament starts on March 17th, 2022 and ends on April 4th, 2022.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the start of the previous season (2020-2021) was postponed, and several early season games were played on neutral courts, with the location of some multi-team events (MTEs) being changed.
