What happened last season?

The Phoenix Suns had failed to make it to the NBA Finals since 1993, while it was the first finals appearance for the Milwaukee Bucks since 1974. After falling behind 2-0 to the Suns, the Bucks came back to win the championship 4-2 thanks to ‘Greek freak’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was named the finals’ MVP.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who are the current NBA Champions?

The Milwaukee Bucks are the NBA champions for the 2020/2021 season. In the finals, they defeated the Phoenix Suns 4-2. It was the team's second NBA Championship win.

  • When does the new NBA 2021/22 season start?

The regular NBA 2021/22 season starts on October 19th 2021.

  • What is the Point Spread in NBA betting?

In an NBA game, the most common market to bet on is the Point Spread. Because basketball games rarely feature two evenly matched teams, bookies use the Point Spread to ‘level up' the event.

Rather than having to win the game (as with the MoneyLine), the favorite team in the Point Spread must win by a certain number of points (the spread) in order for a wager on them to win.

For example, the favorite side might have a -5.5 Point Spread (the half-point is commonly referred to as a "hook"), ensuring that there is no chance of a tie. That means a bet on them would have to win by a margin of at least six points.

In this case, the underdog would have a Point Spread of +5.5, which means that a wager on them to win would have to either win or lose by no more than 5 points.

  • Which team has the most NBA Championships of all time?

The Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers have the most championships with 17 titles each.
